Bio

Who is this smiling woman teaching my child all day?  My name is Laura Hall.  I grew up right here in Calhoun, Georgia. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood from the University of Georgia, I came back to Calhoun and taught 2nd grade for 2 years at Calhoun Primary, which at the time I attended was called Eastside. While working at Calhoun Primary, I went to West Georgia to receive my Masters in Education. I completed my Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration in the summer of 2007.  Eager to move to a larger area, I ventured to Alpharetta, GA in Forsyth County to work at Big Creek Elementary in 2006.  I taught at Big Creek in 2nd grade for 4 years and five years in third grade. This is my third year at W. L. Swain Elementary School.

I am highly qualified to teach children Pre-K through Fifth grade. A lot of learning for everyone will be taking place in our classroom this year, and I am very excited about it! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. I am looking forward to a great school year!
