Bio

Hello, my name is Lisa Williams also known as Mrs. Lisa. I have been an ESS teacher at Swain for eight years.

I received my Associates Degree from Dalton State College, and I am a graduate of the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I obtained additional certification for Special Education Adapted Curriculum and Content Areas. I have an SRT-4 certificate and am highly qualified to teach children in grades K-5. This year will be my eighth year at Swain. I am presently working on my Masters in Special Education from Walden University and plan to complete in January 2017. I feel that my experience will enable me to prepare your child for success beyond elementary school. My hope is to make each student feel safe and excited to learn in my classroom. I want them to be successful and ready to take the next step in their education.

I live in Gordon County with my husband, Donald . I have four adult children and six grandchildren. When not at school, our days are with our children and grandchildren.
